For Parents & Guardians

Eating Disorder Resources For Parents & Guardians

Kartini Clinic is an eating disorder program exclusively designed for children and young adults with anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, and food phobia (fear of swallowing). Since 1998 we have assisted over 3000 children and their families to seek eating disorder help, healing, growth and lasting recovery.

We follow only evidence-based, family-centered eating disorder treatment protocols. Our program is lead by two board-certified pediatricians and includes a multi-disciplinary staff of psychotherapists with specific expertise in treating eating disorders. Our staff understand that treating children who suffer from eating disorders requires special sensitivity to their needs and those of their parents and siblings.

To find out more about our programs and why Kartini Clinic offers eating disorder help significantly different than programs you will likely find elsewhere simply call us at 971-319-6800 and speak to our intake coordinator. You may also submit a confidential online request below. We respond to all queries promptly.

We also encourage all parents to visit Frequently Asked Questions posted to the Around the Dinner Table forum, an online forum hosted by FEAST (Families Empowered and Supporting Treatment of Eating Disorders).
